A High-Performance Thermoplastic Used In A Wide Range Of Applications; Polyether Ether Ketone (PEEK)12/29/2022 The dialkylating bisphenolate salts, step-growth polymerization produces PEEK polymers. It is typical for 4,4'-difluorobenzophenone to react with hydroquinone's disodium salt, which is produced on-site by deprotonation with sodium carbonate. Around 300 °C is used for the reaction, and polar aprotic solvents like diphenyl sulfone are used. Polyether Ether Ketone (PEEK) Market is a semicrystalline thermoplastic that retains its high-temperature mechanical and chemical resistant qualities quite well. The crystallinity and, thus, the mechanical properties of PEEK can be affected by the processing conditions used to mould it. Its tensile strength ranges from 90 to 100 MPa, and its Young's modulus is 3.6 GPa. PEEK melts at a temperature of around 343 °C (662 °F) and has a glass transition temperature of about 143 °C (289 °F).
